When we first arrived, I saw a couple of places in the hall and elevator that seemed worn and looked a little shabby. I was worried that there would be problems with the room, but I had nothing to worry about. The room was very nice and clean. The bed was awesome! The sheets were soft and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was one of the best that I have ever had at a hotel chain. No one went hungry. My only complaint was the hot tub. The first night it was nice, but the second night it wasn't even close to being warm. Overall we had a good experience.

We stayed here for the first stop on our honeymoon road trip to Mackinac Island. The hotel is newly renovated and was pretty nice. Staff was friendly and welcoming. No fridge or microwave in our room, but they did have a microwave in the lobby that we were able to use, so that was nice.

Hotel was adequate, I have suggested to management that they address the mildew smell in the lobby. when checking in I would urge you to request a room that faces away from the highway. The location of the hotel provides for easy access to GR, Kalamazoo, and Lake Michigan. There is shopping and dining options in close proximity to the hotel.

This Hampton is located in a very good location off the highway. We were going to the Ford Presidential Library which was about 7 miles away. The rooms were clean and the beds clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was standard as in all Hampton's. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. There are some stores near by and a few restaurants. Parking was free and very easy.

The room is nothing special, but everything was clean. The staff were friendly, especially the lady who was in charge of setting up breakfast. The lobby/breakfast area had plenty of tables for all guests to sit at. The A/C worked well in the room. Easy to hop on and off 131.

We stayed one night during a long weekend vacation. We could tell the Hotel had done recent renovations. Everything was very clean, and staff was friendly.
You have many places to eat near buy. Also a Target and Miejer store for any forgotten items.

Hotel was full due to a family wedding. They were unprepared for the barrage off visitors for breakfast. No reason for this. There was hair in one of the beds and yet posters advertising clean sheets all over. One TV did not work and was not resolved that night. Staff was pleasant, but they were understaffed.

Thank you for staying at our Hampton Inn earlier this month. I am glad that you took out time to comment on your experience.

Our entire "Clean and Fresh Hampton Bed" gets washed after every guest. I am sorry that you found hair on your sheets. I will take up that issue with our housekeeping supervisors to ensure better quality for future guests.

We were full the weekend before last with both weddings and the annual Tulip Festival. Our management team will get together to discuss crowd control and staffing on our busy weekends, especially in respects to our breakfast area.

We hope to see you again on your future travels to Grand Rapids.
