I stayed with friends for almost a week all inclusive during the Easter holidays.
The all inclusive - it has nothing to do with the all inclusive in the Caribbeans or Turkey. It's pretty poor concerning drinks and cocktails, of course you might have local beer and local wine, different coffees and juices, some cocktails. But you have to pay for the Mohito. The food was fine - plenty of choice. I very much liked the beach restaurant for having lunch - great staff and very good food - wonderful salads! The terrace restaurant was overcrowded almost all the time and very noisy. There is also an Italian restaurant, which is not bad, but the food is more Greek as taste than Italian.
The hotel itself is not bad but it is just enormous - big buildings and annexes that predominate the gardens. But the view from the terrace restaurant is just splendid. Its a beautiful landscape!
The rooms are totally renovated, pretty luxurious but they continued smelling paint and reconstruction. The quality of one's stay may depend on the room's location as they are very different. I was in one in the annexes - 5-10 minutes walk in the hotel and waiting for lifts to go to the restaurant. The room was overlooking the street, the garden and little sea. And it was very noisy because of the street traffic. Some of my friends' room overlooked a wall and we asked for change but the reception staff was not helpful at all and refused to change the room even in their voucher was written that they should have annex room.
The staff in the restaurants, the beach and pool bar were very nice, not the case with the reception staff.
One of my friends had a bad experience with a waiter from the lobby bar. He asked for espresso (which is part of all inclusive) and the waiter told him that he will bring it to him. My friend said that he will wait because he wants to take it to the room, but the waiter said that it wont' be a problem to bring the coffee into him room. In the check out my friend was charged room service!!!
