“Very Nice Place”
Reviewed July 25, 2014

This place has changed hands and been many things over the years, but I think they have a winner with this new owner and menu. The food is excellent and the atmosphere is pleasant. They have a beautiful stone gas fireplace for those cold winter excursions out.

Good food, nice decor, friendly staff and fair prices...a great combination for a meal out.

“Mr C's Great Food Great Service Great Prices”
Reviewed July 25, 2014

Mr C's has Great Food Great Service Great Prices. There Rustic and Smokehouse Flat Breads are AWESOME and are served on hot plates so the Flat Bread is not cold after the first two pieces. Plus the have the most wonderful complimentary Cheese Bread (at dinner only). The place is located just East of the Turtle Creek Casino. We have eaten there four or five times and every time it has been great. And the prices are half of what you will pay if you get into Traverse City. Well worth the stop. And they have an awesome Happy hour 4-7 with half off apps and $1,00 off drinks.

“Nice atmosphere”
Reviewed July 3, 2014

The food was marginal but in defense of the restaurant, we only had appetizers. I did taste the pizza and it was good. Service was great and we loved eating outside.

“Tired of excuses.”
Reviewed January 19, 2014 via mobile

We live in Williamsburg and were very excited to hear that this restaurant was re-opening as Mr C's. We have eaten here several times and have had mixed results. Embarrassing when we have friends up for a visit and food is below standard. The last time we tried it one of our friends ordered the signature "Mr C's burger." the meat on the bun arrived in three pieces. My wife's prime rib was so rare to the point of being raw. The whole thing was bright red. I ordered the steak and king crab and received two very thin crab legs and a slightly tough and overcooked T bone. No bread basket until we asked for one, something that the manager had told us on previous visits would be corrected. He seems like a nice guy and talks a good game, but as they say, action speaks louder than words. We have given this place several chances. Won't spend any more money there. It's a shame.
