We stayed here for one night with a 13, 9 and 6 year old. Grandparents are casino players club members so we had a spectacular rate on two rooms ($39 for one and $59 for the second including tax!). The hotel does not have a pool or any activities for kids but it is only minutes to everything that Traverse City has to offer. I believe you can go down to Grand Traverse Resort and use the pool there as well as they are owned by the same people. The hotel has a very modern, sterile appearance from the outside but inside is simple but lovely. Parking is convenient. A couple of notes for families...the hotel does not offer connecting rooms; our two rooms did not have bathtubs. I'm not sure if that is the same for every room in the hotel. The tiled shower was very spacious though as was the entire bathroom; Our two rooms had double beds...not queens but were quite comfortable; large flat screen LCD tvs are a plus. There was a very nice fitness room on our floor with four large tvs. Overall, the hotel is very quiet and comfortable. It is only about a year old but is also being very well maintained. The players club special rates (mailed to club members periodically) can't be beat!
