An interesting place to go, a great way to spend a rainy afternoon. The shop is very well stocked and well priced.

We visited this intriguing place whilst on holiday, we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of information, minerals, fossils and precious stones that were on display. The price was really reasonable for what the place had to offer, there were some outstanding finds and minerals that you would never have considered. A must for anyone to visit, if you are a geologist to a jeweler or an interested child to a well knowledgeable adult. The building is easy to get round even if you are disabled, I am semi wheelchair bound and although someone confined to a wheelchair can visit and see most of what this interesting place has to offer.

We got in her at half price and I would say that is a fair price to pay for this exhibition, glad I did not pay the full price. Crystals and fossils can pall a bit after a short time! Pam the girl at the centre was very enthusiatic and made it sound sensational. Good saleswoman

They amethyst and some of the semi precious stones were excellent but found that the gift shop was quite pricey and almost as big as the museum of semi precious stones did not see all ones mentioned in guide.
