“Best burger ever”
Reviewed March 2, 2013

The Red Coat burger is THE best burger anywhere. And, made with Piedmontese beef, it is low in fat but very juicy. Mt. Vernon and clam chowder are other favorites, not to mention the onion rings.

“Great burgers. Good value”
Reviewed February 28, 2013 via mobile

Red Coat has great burgers and you can get them with a variety of toppings. The burgers are big enough to split especially if you order a salad, soup or other side to go with it. Caesar salad is amazing and as a side big enough to split by 4 people. Price is very reasonable too. Well worth every penny for the quality. Always busy. Call ahead seating. Open late.

“Good comfort food”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

Everyone raves about the burgers; but I found them just average for taste. Yes, they are big with lots of toppings, but the meat was not as flavorful and other top notch burgers. Service was slow and most times you have to wait for a table.

“Good Burgers”
Reviewed February 4, 2013

Stopped by for quick Friday night burger and onion rings. It was pretty good. We were able to get a table right away, which was a pleasant surprise. Service was very good. Prices are a little on the high end. It is loud in there and table/chair setup could be done a little better because of this. Not a place for a nice quiet/quiet dinner.

“Same food as the Royal Oak location, less of a wait, nicer atmosphere!”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

Red Coat Burgers are fantastic. Everything on the menu is good. Royal Oak is a dark, pub atmosphere. West Bloomfield is lighter and brighter, and more upscale. Try the french fries with the white dipping sauce!
