St. Julian's offers a great wine tasting experience. They have a large selection of wines at very reasonable prices. One of my favorite MIchigan wineries.

Between their variety, the wonderful service and price vs. quality factor, you can not do better than St. Julian.... let all the Chicago snobs head to Tabor Hill, and spend your $$$ at St. Julian.

$5 for six tastings (including a few spirits they make) plus a complimentary glass (though I find a wine glass with a logo a bit tacky). Servers were very knowledgable and happy to make recommendations. Huge variety to choose from (at least 50 wines/ciders/spirits). Offer discounts when you buy a full case. Nice layout with a large round tasting counter in the middle of their store.

one of oldest (if not the oldest) winery in Michigan, St Julian's tasting room is a bit touristy and crowded, but the people are nice and they make a ton of good wine. I particularly enjoyed the history of the owner. They also make a Solera-method Sherry which was a real treat and extremely rare to find outside of Spain. The prices on other novelty items were high and the wines weren't great, but it's still a worthwhile stop.

Stopped at St. Julian which is next to Round Barn. For $5 I tasted 6 of their wines and was given the glass to take home. The staff was very nice and knowledgeable. Tried six different reds. One was OK for my taste. Bought a couple of bottles. I would recommend stopping as it is right at the I-96 exit 6.
