While staying at a nearby hotel, I came across the Cedar Grille on the recommendation of the front desk staff. Most of the other restaurants in this suburban office park and shopping mall area are chain restaurants, but despite its location in a small strip mall, the Cedar Grill is really a delightful alternative. The decor is contemporary and the food is Lebanese, with a variety of beef, chicken, and lamb dishes as well as some vegetarian options. I had the evening special, lamb shank with potatoes and carrots, which was very nicely prepared. My dining companion had a beef tahini dish that was quite tasty. Meals are accompanied by piping hot pita bread and soup. The service was friendly, the price was fair, and the food was very good. All in all, a pleasant surprise and a nice gem of a restaurant in an unlikely location.
