“Food is consistently ok”
Reviewed April 25, 2013

Pricey and long, long waits unless you can grab a seat at the bar ... food is ok and consistent which you expect from a chain ... the new design on the interior is trying too hard vs the friendly old look

“The food saved this CPK from a poor rating”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

My family and I visited this CPK located inside the Somerset Collection (mall) on the first level on a weekend afternoon.

Our wait for our party was about 30 minutes which was not unusual for the size of our party.

We ordered an array of food from pizza's to sandwhich's, soup to appetizers. All but one guest in our party received their food in an expected amount of time however one of our orders, an appetizer order of egg rolls, came out cold. Not a huge deal however the missing order was a child's order of pasta with butter. Now this child was the youngest at the table at 4 years old which you can understand the issue we now have. We waited for our serve to come back however he did not. A server helping another table was stopped about ten minutes later to help us out. Our serve came to our table within a minute or so and we told him about the pasta and cold rolls. Our server brought the pasta to us very quickly and was not accompanied by a manager. We explained the two cold rolls and simply asked for another app. The manager proceeded to tell us that 'of course the rolls are cold, they've been sitting here for ten minutes.' I about jumped out of my chair at him insinuating that we were simply just trying to complain. Extremely offended, we explained that they were cold when they came out. The rolls were taken away and replaced with two new ones that were of proper serving temprature.

After our meal the manager was spoken to again and told how offended we were at his accusatory comments. The manager apologized and stated he realized what he had said and how he said it, after he said it and knew that it didn't sound right. Then again says that he wouldn't have been able to tell if they were cold or not when they came out as he wasn't told until ten minutes later. We again explained that not only was a kids order missing but no one came to check on us after our meals were served.

Though the service was pretty bad, we all have bad days, and given the taste and quality of the food that came out of the kitchen I will probably visit this CPK again. They will have a short leash in regards to the service though.

“Love Eating Here”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

The only problem with this restaurant is that it to small. Try and get there before noon or after 2:00 for lunch. This particular restaurant seems to serve better food than other California Pizza restaurants.

“Great spot for a break in Somerset!”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

This is the go-to spot for the kids when spending an afternoon in the Somerset Collection. There is a kids' menu and crayons are provided. Parents in need of a respite can be confident that CPK will deliver! The food is good, and the kid-friendly atmosphere trumps.
