Had my first dinner encounter there and the place disappoints to no end.
Bad food: where do I start? sushi is not that fresh, the fish tastes like its been left out in the open for too long. Not only that, the portion of the fish is extremely small compared to other restaraunts in the area. The fish pieces are also badly cut, as in I can do a better cut than the chief. The rice is hard, tasteless, and falls apart way too easy. There are many other things wrong with their food, but above are the most offending.
When the food is bad, nothing is good. I will go back to Ajishin as my primary sushi place and stop experimenting...Comparing Ajishin to Cafe Sushi is like comparing filet mignon at Chop House to sirloin steak at Denny's.....
