Although the food at this location has been good overall, I was not at all impressed with the service. A week before Christmas might appear to the staff that we were out enjoying a holiday, festive dining experience; but for us it was lunch as usual on a Friday at 1:30 p.m.
We were seated and were not attended to immediately. We waited approximately 8 minutes before we were even acknowledged. We had to wait for the customary basket of bread which arrived warm but not cooked thoroughly and a bit doughy inside. The garlic hummus we had to ask for not once but twice.
Although I asked for whole lentil soup I received the mashed lentil soup which was served luke warm. Although the server wanted to rectify it, I declined due to timing. Poor listening skills on the servers part.
We asked for lamb chops that were served medium well and seasoned appropriately. The rice was bland, and lacking flavor and served at room temperature.
Plates were cleared along with silverware which were never replaced. We indicated that we were sharing one dish, but additional dishes were not facilitated. Another long wait to get this corrected while our food cooled. It seems that communication is lacking between co-workers as to what needs to be done at the tables that are serviced.
Might give them another opportunity in the future, but not during a weekday lunch. It was not the best lunch I've had at this location. If you have time to spare, don't mind waiting and like your food at room temperature this is the place for you.
