Popped in for a quick lunch and was able to get a seat at the window in the corner looking out over the street. Great seat to see everyone fighting to get out of the snow!

Wine was local and great, the appetizer was the stuffed mushrooms and hit the spot for me. I had the spinach salad for the main course and was not disappointed.

Good service and constant attention by my waitress.

Place filled up quickly and there was a line when I left.

They only serve their beer so be prepared to choose from thier list.

Great atmosphere!

Headed in to watch March Madness game. Enjoyed the Red 8 and IPAD. About 8 drafts from which to choose. On this chilly, gloomy day, onion soup hit the spot-rich flavor, cheesy and an ample portion.

This was our third trip to Mackinaw Brewing and probably our least agreeable visit. And it's hard to pinpoint what was wrong. The food came out quickly and hot. The beer was cold. But the restaurant - compared to our past visits - feels slightly rundown. It had a dark atmosphere which wasn't made much better by a waitress who seemed to rush us. We went a bit late - 8:30-ish - but were still well within kitchen hours on a Saturday night. And it just seemed a bit dead to us. There was staff lounging casually (sprawled might be a better word) and counting receipts in a booth across from ours. Our waitress grabbed our credit card bill quickly - I can't remember when the wait staff collected the signed copy before we'd actually left the table. In all, it gave the impression that the discipline was a bit off. If you're going to pay the prices this restaurant has - and they range a bit high for what you get - then you'd like at least the illusion of perfection everywhere. And it simply wasn't. Of the three major restaurants we tried this same weekend, this one was definitely the most lacking. I wouldn't have minded another beer or after-meal but we felt pushed out - at 9:15 on a Saturday night.

We stopped for lunch after winter festival. Quite busy because of the festival but service was fast. We all had some type of sandwich. Mine was brisket served on cibatta roll with steak fries. Very good. Ordered a seasonal brew which was good even though it was served is a smaller size glass.

We eat there almost every time we are in TC and are rarely disappointed.

Their food was really good. They make a great Reuben and all their smoked meats are done right there. Great service and lots of fun.
