My husband and I ate dinner here last night. He ordered the pesto salmon with rice pilaf? and I had the hanger steak with gouda red skinned potatoes and curried haystack onions.
What I had to say is that this menu has too many adventurous items to really perfect one. Potatoes with onions seemed like an odd pairing and then to throw curry in the mix was bizarre. The steak tasted off - not horrible, but not good. The salmon was drench in pesto.
I suppose if I were to go back I would stick with ordering a burger. The beer was mediocre. We had the Irish Stout and the Amber. The Amber was quite tangy for an amber.
It was also a bit pricey for being a bar/brewery.
Great atmosphere. Good service. Bad food.
