The front desk and housekeeping staff were so friendly, we felt like we were royalty or someone famous. The rooms were like new and smelled clean. The property is located for easy access to all Traverse City has to offer. The breakfast nook was very nice and well stocked. It is one of the best deals for the money in town. We will return next year!

We recently stayed at the Travelodge on the Memorial Day weekend and also the weekend of the Traverse City Marathon . We arrived a bit early but were welcomed to check in early as our room was available. We were able to look at 2 different rooms to see which one would be preferable. This was done with a personable conversation about attributes of each room. Both were clean and up to date with amenities but I appreciated the choice. The pool area was clean and the pool ready for use . It was in the high 80's and was a welcome asset that it was available that early in the season. We were given maps of the area and suggestions for restaurants and activities. It was all in all a most pleasurable experience. We would stay there again.

We had planned a one night stay for a getaway, but we enjoyed the 1st day, that we decided to stay another night, the hotel gave us the same rate as our 1st night rate. the rooms were clean and comfortable. The best thing was that we were able to bring our dog with us, the nightly extra fee was $10.00. this hotel has a tennis court in the rear and a nice outdoor pool area and a pet area. The breakfast was good waffles and such.. we have been here before and will return to this hotel again.. at the time of this stay the hotel had just had new management take over.. and they were fixing things up pretty good from what we seen.. the beds were comfortable and we had a good nights sleep.....

I went to Traverse City in mid-June 2010 for a wine tasting tour around Traverse City. While I was there with my girlfriend, we stayed at the Travelodge and had a great stay at the hotel/motel. We were not expecting much, but upon arrival we found the location to be close enough to town to be able to get there via car in less than 5 minutes. The rooms were a bit dated, but that was expected. Everything was clean and the room didn't smell musty or anything like that, so we were happy. The beds were not uncomfortable, but were awfully bouncey! It was kind of like being on a trapoline. As for the service, the staff was more than helpful and very courteous. We went to the "hot" tub in the evening, only to find the temperature was probably in the mid 70's, which was dissappointing, but didn't ruin the stay. The hotel overall was a great value under $100, and if you are only looking for a decent place to lay your head for the night, I would highly reccomdend it.

This was a great stay in at this hotel. It was very relaxing and had a privet quality that was nice. The ice box is a ways depending were you are but not bad. Over all I would definitely recommend this room.

The rooms at this hotel were just average, at least mine was. For the money spent I was noit impressed. Had it not been for the close proximity to everything in Traverse City I would not have enjoyed my stay here. The beach is across the street (a busy street). The hotel does have a pool in a gated area off to the side of the property. It is about 15 minutes from the airport by car. You can probably find a better plkace to stay in the area for the money.

We stayed at the motel with friends. They arrived first so we asked for a room near them. Our rooms were in the very back of the motel next to the apparently unused tennis courts. I say apparently because two mattresses were leaning against the inside fence of the court. Bad impression. The room however was very clean and beds comfortable. The breakfast area was pleasant and had good choices in continental breakfast fare. The front desk staff who checked us in was pleasant and efficient. The rate was reasonable given the cost of Traverse City lodging on the weekend.
