“What happened?”
Reviewed December 22, 2011

This used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant in Traverse City, with the best won-ton soup and egg rolls. They started serving sushi several years ago and the rest of the fare went downhill. I'm sorry to say I do not dine here anymore.

“Good for Michigan sushi”
Reviewed June 20, 2011

I was pleasantly surprised with the sushi here. I wasn't sure what to expect, but was in the mood for sushi so gave it a try. The restaurant is located at some place called Logan's Landing that seemed empty when I was there. There are some shops in the building but perhaps they are not open on Sundays. The sushi was good. I tried the Volcano roll, which was good but could have been spicier. They also have Thai food on the menu as well as the usual Chinese choices. Maybe because it was empty the restaurant did not have much atmosphere. The staff was friendly and efficient.

“Great Food, Great People”
Reviewed April 21, 2011

I eat at Panda North atleast once a week. At 15 bucks for all you can eat sushi (for lunch), it can't be beat. Is the quality as good as Red Ginger or Firefly, no, but it tastes great and its all about the quantity when you consider that you can barely get ONE roll at Red Ginger for the cost of the whole buffet. Very attentive and friendly wait staff as well as a very friendly sushi chef.

“Can't be beat!!!”
Reviewed July 11, 2010

THE best sushi anywhere from Michigan to Texas! Anything on the menu will not disappoint. Well worth a road trip if you live a good distance away like I do. The entire staff make it a wonderful experience. To bad I can’t give it a couple extra stars!

“BEST CHINESE IN TRAVERSE CITY”
Reviewed June 6, 2008

BEST CHINESE FOOD IN TRAVERSE CITY!!! I haven't had authentic Chinese food in years, until I visited Panda North. The food is excellent & the price is great (lunch special includes soup, choice of egg roll or crab macau -sp?, entree, and choice of fried or white rice for $5.50-$6.00). The portions are substantial, and the food is piping hot - be careful- don't burn your mouth. I absolutely love this place. The setting is peaceful, and there is a nice view of the Boardman River.
