Went here for our 10 year anniversary. VERY overpriced. Food is not that good. Huge plate with a tiny little something in the middle of the plate. We ordered 2 appetizers. We paid 12 dollars for 2 small scallops. Steak was horrible. My husband had a filet and it was gamely tasting and had a lot of hard gristle. We will not return to this restaurant. We left dinner and went to a pub and had an appetizer because we were hungary!! Go to the Apache Trout Grill. We had a GREAT meal there and the prices were very reasonable!!

Going to the Boathouse is delightful. This was our third group visit (a wine dinner) and, as with earlier visits, we found the food to be imaginatively prepared and wine-paired. The ambiance is relaxed, the service attentive but unobtrusive. The lake view is a thing of sublime beauty - even better at sunset. Expensive? Yes, but we got what we paid for. Will we go again? Absolutely. . .

Invited to dinner as guests we didn't know what to expect. This visit was highlighting the Hawthorne Vineyard wines which where expertly paired with the chefs meal selections. Both wine and food were delicious! Since we didn't order from the menu I can't comment on it but we will definately return next time we are in the area.

Called for reservations and was told they could get us in at 7:45 PM I passed and they then asked what time I said 6 PM they said they could work us in. Arrived 10 minutes early they put us in the lounge area. 2 tables next to us remained empty the entire time we were there. The main dining room had 4 tables empty the entire time we were there. Order Filet Migon medium and one medium well. Both arrived rare and one had a fair amount of fat. Couldn't seem to get anyone's attention and felt like we were treated as second class citizens. But our cash money spent like everyone else's.

We enjoy trying new restaurants and decided on this one. It is not easy to get to but was worth the drive. The meal was excellent, as was the service. We weren't expecting the menu to be as expensive as it was. We arrived after dark, it would have been nice to have eaten there earlier to enjoy the view. I don't think we will go there again as there are restaurants in town just as good for a lot less money.
