Between the Sandusky and the Traverse City locations, I would still choose the TC location. It is cleaner, less wear and tear. For the first time, we stayed in a Kid Cabin. I liked having the kids in a separate area, with their own television. Nice fireplace to warm up in front of. Lots of room to move about. I didn't like that 2 of my 3 kids, managed to remove the bottom sheet while sleeping and were sleeping directly on the cheap rubbery mattresses. Better fitting sheets would be nice as to avoid that type of situation.
Since our last visit, GWL has added some size restrictions to their water slides and they are measuring kids when they go in. My kids are all tall enough, but I may have been disappointed had I been there before with no restrictions to suddenly having requirements. I still love the Wolf Breakfast package. The breakfast buffet has everything from biscuits and gravy to omelets, fresh fruit to chocolate chip pancakes. French toast, french toast sticks, bacon and sausage. Everything. Well worth the money if you are a big breakfast person. Plus the hours are really good too. You don't have to get up early to make it to breakfast in time.More
