We enjoyed a two night stay here as a family. We traveled with our 2 1/2 year old and six month old. Our oldest loved the waterpark. There was plenty to do for her even though she wasn't able to ride on the bigger waterslides. The Critter Cafe restaurant had surprisingly good food and the breakfast buffet had much to choose from. We chose to stay in the largest suite available, as we wanted to have another isolated bedroom so that the kids could sleep comfortably. The room was clean, but needed some repairs. For example, the main wall had tons of dirt marks and smudges on it that could have easily been wiped away with a magic eraser. It didn't detract from the room overall.
It was a little noisy. I am a light sleeper so I brought my noisy box fan and still could hear kids tromping through the halls at all hours. The hotel does it's best to remind patrons of the "hibernation hours", but there is no substitute for good parenting I suppose. In addition, the kids doing the Maji quest really slowed down the elevators. They would often roam unsupervised from floor to floor for hours at a time. That being said, we knew it was a family hotel and weren't expecting complete quiet.
We truly enjoyed our stay and might make it a yearly event. The surrounding area was so beautiful during the month of October. All of the employees we encountered were very pleasant and helpful. The kids had a great time.
