Came here a few times, ratatouille omelet is good, beignets are OK though they were not quite as good as New Orleans'. Most things are just OK, but it seems like a hip place where people talk loud about themselves and they had increased the prices too, but the quality had been going downhill.

Some of the best eggs benedict that I have ever had. The coffee is the best in Traverse.

Great food but cost is $$$. Helps to know french so you know what you are getting. Small and can be crowded on weekend morning.

This is a real treat for anyone looking for something outside of their traditional brunch routine. From the Pot d'Escargots, salads, truffled omelet (with mousse de foie & gruyere), french press coffee, and good service, what more could you ask for on a great morning? I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will definitely visit this place again. I wasn't able to save room to sample one of the tasty after dinner treats in the case . . . that will have to wait until next time!

Parisserie Amie is certainly out of the ordinary for breakfast in Traverse City. Those craving a typical American breakfast should steer clear. The menu is a little difficult to understand unless you have a background in French. Our waiter was willing to explain anything we weren't clear on. Breakfast entrees include savory crepes, sweet "thin French pancakes" and some very unusual egg dishes.

Our daughters ordered a fruit and Nutella filled "thin pancake" and were a little disappointed. They were expecting a French crepe style wrap such as one they were served in Quebec recently. This dish, however, featured an enormous, rather thick pancake filled with fruit and what my daughter described as "really runny" icecream. Once the frozen portion of the dish melted, the remaining portion was quite soggy.
My egg dish was delicious, although painfully rich. I believe it was called the Truffled omelette. The eggs were stuffed with some type of pate which was great for the first few bites but thereafter quite overwhelming.
My husbands plate consisted of a small sausage of some type, an over easy egg, and a load of lentils. Very unique, although not quite what he was expecting.
Coffee is excellent and refills are plentiful. The atmosphere is a bit awkward, which I'm sure is more comfortable in the evening.
We hope to return to Parisserie Amie and try their dinner menu.
