“Interesting history”

Worth a trip to see the grounds and pick up a cookie at the bakery. Out of the way and not for children, but very unusual. We did not explore extensively as it is hard to determine what is where.

“Nothing like it anywhere else in the world”
Reviewed June 3, 2014

Thank God that Ray Minervini had the vision to save this property. It is absolutely beautiful, and so very unique. There are outstanding restaurants, coffee shops, bakery, fun boutiques, residential areas, businesses, and incredible events, and all are hosted in a simply breath-taking venue. It is truly one of a kind.

“Everything under one roof”
Reviewed May 31, 2014

A very historic and possibly haunted building - previously the State Hospital for the mentally insane ! A superb renovation of phenomenal architect all put to practical use. If yo can get a peak at some of the apartments. The grounds - the location - the setting all wonderful.

“Has Potential”

The is is a very interesting concept. The grounds are beautiful but it didn't really live up to our expectations. The food choices are limited and there is still a lot of empty space. Some cute shops but could use more.

“Disappointed”
Reviewed May 26, 2014

Not enough shops to make it worth the trip. And I thought it would be a little more interesting given the building's history.
