As a old mental hospital I thought it sounded like a cool place to visit. I had not heard of it before getting to town. I would have enjoyed reading up on it before visiting. They have nice shops for crafts and other things. We enjoyed shopping at Fridrich Furs. Good prices and the owner was super friendly. We did the Black Star Wine Tasting and had another great time. We bought a few other things and really enjoyed our visit. Might be on the pricey side but like it enough to go back if ever in town again.

Located in the old State Hospital and renovated for shops, restaurants, and condos. I expected more. We only visited the shops and they were small and cramped. Food selection was poor for a lunch menu.

We didn't get a chance to peruse through this new found location, schedule didn't permit it. We will definitely be back and thoroughly go through what looks like an awesome transformation of a former state hospital into a chic, progressive establishment filled with businesses and eateries!

This is a must see attraction in the Traverse City area. The history of these buildings is amazing. The architecture itself is worth the visit. There are many shops and eateries to see and visit but we enjoyed just walking around and taking in the history. A trip to Traverse City would not be complete without seeing this place.

Newly developed village with shops and restaurants to stimulate the local economy in Traverse City. Still incomplete but has potential. Worth a visit.
