Tuna spinach salad was great! Tuna was just seared and very tasty. Friends had glazed salmon and flank steak and both were equally great. Topped off with cream brûlée and tiramisu which were perfect to top off a great evening of wine and dinner with the girls!

This was our second trip, and all of the good thoughts that we had on the original trip were consistent. Service was outstanding, we love the view, and the place was hopping! Even with all of the people there, the food was out in good time, our wait staff was very friendly, took lots of time, and was clearly familiar with all the menu choices. It's just a little out of Traverse City, and more than worth the trip.

Went on a Friday noon for lunch. Was expecting great things after having attended one of the owner's cooking classes at the college. The tuna for the tuna and spinach salad was just a big hunk of tough fish with no flavor. The panini was BURNED - actually couldn't believe they served it. The bread was good; the French fries were good.

Would try again at dinner, but lunch was prepared by someone who didn't seem to care, (and it still took over 30 minutes to get salad and sandwich with 2 other groups in the restaurant.)

Sorry, but if this experience was all I knew about the Tuscan Bistro, there's no way I'd go back.

Food was ok, portions very small.Probably not going back.Had Scallapeno di vittelo with potato pancakes, veal tough , lightly seasoned (boring).Ceasar salad had about 8 leaves for $6. Creme brulee for desert, custard not cooked all the way, sugar burnt on top.

The food, flavors and service was amazing. An Oyster Florentine and Egg Plant dish for a starters followed by a mushroom veal dish that was out of this world. Great atmosphere and soft Frank Sinatra music that hit the spot. Everything is made from scratch and the owner/chef visits with you as if you are a guest in his home. A must visit if in TC...
