“quirky spot for homemade sandwiches and pickles”
Reviewed September 23, 2013

This storefront has homemade baked goods, lattes, and lots of quirky kitchen gear and cookbooks. Also, it is a deli with corn salads, pickled everything, deviled eggs, and other interesting gourmet items. Pick up a sandwich to go or sit on front patio.

“Nice, quaint, limited breakfast options, but good”
Reviewed August 15, 2013

Feels like a small town bakery. Food was ok, service fine. Limited seating. County fair-ish foods, jams, etc. Outdoor seating is in the sun in late morning and onwards.

“What a gem!”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

I had read about this little deli/bakery in a road trip for foodies article in Midwestern Living a few years back, and so when my husband and I were in the area, we decided to check it out and I am glad we did! We were staying in New Buffalo and Three Oaks is a little off the beaten path, but it was well worth it to eat lunch here---fresh, home made breads, salads, baked goods, pastries, home made relishes and jams. There are various sandwich choices and then you pick your bread. My husband and I both had the muffaletta, me on multi-grain, and he on sour dough. The relish on the sandwich was homemade a completely delicious! They were also very large sandwiches, so I would not have had room for a side, although we did split a very yummy almond bear claw for dessert. We also walked away with some homemade fudge, salad dressing, and the best peach jam, I have ever had.
If you love a good sandwich and value the art of homemade baking, cooking, and canning, this is the place to stop!

“Fresh homemade goodies”
Reviewed January 13, 2013

Always fresh bakery goods are available. If you would like breakfast or lunch, this cafe has several options that are available to just about everyone that is along for the ride. Among other items, a few things we have tasted are soups, luncheon sandwiches, breakfast items, rolls and bread. All items we have tried are delicious.
