This place is amazing. We had flights of whisky, craft cocktails, and appetizers, and everything was terrific. The atmosphere is super hip and comfortable, with concrete floors, a large, open bar, and plenty of seating. Our server was knowledgable and efficient. I highly recommend Journeyman's and can't wait to go back!

When you're traveling through the harbor and wine country of Southwestern Michigan, travel sideways to the town of Three Oaks for artisan spirits and hand-crafted cocktails at Journeyman's Distillery. Located in the historic 1883 Featherbone Factory, the tasting room and distillery, once steeped in history, is now a hip destination for sipping and sampling the complex yet comforting flavors of small batch distilled spirits. The architectural space of salvaged wood, steel, and concrete frames a glass wall that looks into the distillery and includes an open and welcoming area with tasting bars and tables that are a perfect place to discover the possibilities of "grain to glass” spirits that will soon make you a Journeyman enthusiast. There's an inspired light food menu of spreads, cheeses and charcuterie for a nibble and nip plus small sides like mac and cheese, a bison sloppy joe, deviled eggs and a skillet johnny cake. The bar cheese and toast made with a touch of their Ravenswood Rye Whiskey were perfect with the Cablecar, a tall cocktail deftly make with ginger beer and bourbon by their talented mixologists.

You can sign up online and take a tour of the distillery. We didn't know that when we walked in and the tour was full so we just sat at the bar and had a few drinks and food. The drinks and food were really good and the bartenders were really nice. The decor of the place was really nice and I would recommend everyone go there and try it.

My wife and I took the tour and tasting (you make reservations online) and we were very impressed! We learned so much about the history of the building and the town. We found it to be very interesting, educational and fun. Our tour giude was the owner's Mother and she was AMAZING!! She did such a great tour and was so friendly and wecoming. I enjoyed everything I tasted. Don't miss this if you are visiting the area.

Friends got the mac n cheese, another got the baked potato with the BBQ on top. I got the Sunlight's Mistress, and that was yummy! Definitely coming back to take a tour!
