This park is a good place to take your family for a picnic or just walk around the park it is quite and has a fishing pond for kids, in the summer they have fireworks right after 4 th July
And a half dozen baseball diamonds
The city of Taylor out did themselves great family place toget together for a fun day . Did I say fire works the best in the area.
They had a variety of animals and it's pretty cheap to get it. $4.00 per person. It was nice just walking around and going in the barn. I'd go back for sure.
Heritage park offers so much to everyone. From beautiful walks to the small shops to special events like movies in the park and fishing derbys fireworks and so much more. It is a popular place for wedding photos. Add in the petting farm and conservatory
and you have a real winner.
I decided to visit this park to take a look at an old caboose - unfortunately, the caboose cannot be entered and the boxcar is also closed. The park offers a pond for catch/release fishing, an historical library, a replica water mill and a one room school. There is also a Sweet Shop on the premises but I did not go inside to see what sweets are offered. This park it located next to a petting zoo.
A very nice park in the area. It became more busy after Pokemon go was released. There's atleast 20-30 pokestops in the area and atleast 2 Pokemon gyms. Both sides of the park go in a loop. One side is more sporty with playing fields and a somewhat joggable walk loop. The other side of the park is nicely designed for a walk in the park. It goes in a loop around the pond where some people fish as a family activity teaching the kids, no real fishermen sportsman. Pets are allowed and doggy bags provided around the loop and trash cans too. Definitely a place to check out if you are in the area.
