I decided to visit this park to take a look at an old caboose - unfortunately, the caboose cannot be entered and the boxcar is also closed. The park offers a pond for catch/release fishing, an historical library, a replica water mill and a one room school. There is also a Sweet Shop on the premises but I did not go inside to see what sweets are offered. This park it located next to a petting zoo.
A very nice park in the area. It became more busy after Pokemon go was released. There's atleast 20-30 pokestops in the area and atleast 2 Pokemon gyms. Both sides of the park go in a loop. One side is more sporty with playing fields and a somewhat joggable walk loop. The other side of the park is nicely designed for a walk in the park. It goes in a loop around the pond where some people fish as a family activity teaching the kids, no real fishermen sportsman. Pets are allowed and doggy bags provided around the loop and trash cans too. Definitely a place to check out if you are in the area.
Very nice park - great baseball facilities. With all of the rain this year, the staff did a great job keeping the action moving forward. Go Southeast
Whether you just want to walk the walking trail or picnic with the family, Heritage Park has something for everyone.
Hertiage had a nice walk/ bike path that goes around the park. Nice play scapes for the kids and an arra to sit and havr a nice picnic. A few small business's which includes an ice crean parlor. Thry have a splash pad now which is a nice addition. Clean and well maintained.
