We celebrated our friend's birthday here. We had a 8PM reservation, so we arrived early and tail-gated in the parking lot. That's what everyone does here! We love the intimate atmosphere, however it does get noisy. So if you have a large group request the party room. The food is really good! Try the tomato soup, and the mushrooms! They are to die for! If you are expecting a formal place, forget it. This is casual atmosphere, but great food!

I've been to Bonge's about five times now and have yet to be disappointed. I love the contrast of the rural tavern in the middle of nowhere and the gourmet food usually found in classy urban restaurants. Everyone we've taken to this place has fallen in love with it. I have always gotten the Perkinsville Pork Tenderloin, but I branched out on my most recent visit and opted for Beef Stroganoff. Wow, was it delicious! And of course, if you time it right you can bring your cooler of adult beverages and some camp chairs and tailgate outside before your table's ready. I highly recommend this place! (By the way, it's pronounced "Bungee's" with a hard g.)

Fantastic Gourmet Food so far from the crowd, but the crowd finds it. Menu on the blackboard, great bar, small room, great service. Had grouper done perfect. Wife had prime cap, a delicious unique offering. Excellent dessert capped the evening.

A unique restaurant in a small town. You make friends wile you wait and tailgate outside. The servers are fun and friendly! The food is excellent and worth the wait.

they have a standard Perkinsville Pork tenderloin that is tenderized with a hammer then perfectly breaded and served.
they offer a unique fowl or game dish and usually great sauteed mushrooms
the jalepeno sweet corn bread is awesome too.
Craft beers and wines available in this old tin country store of a building turned into a bar restaurant---- screen door included.
In the summer--people sometimes tailgate by the white river waiting to get inside.
