Owner description: A day of adventure awaits at the National Forest Adventure Farm, whatever the weather. You can meet and feed the animals, explore the outdoor Funfield and have fun in the huge indoor play area. Meet a host of farm animals including pigs, sheep, cows and goats. In the spring and summer you can also bottle feed our lambs. You can cuddle a rabbit or guinea pig and see our more unusual animals such as alpaca, reindeer and chipmunks. We also have daily animal activities including pony grooming, milking demonstrations and egg collecting. The huge Funfield features a range of have a go activities including Go-Karts, assault course, mini golf, jumping pillow and in the summer the Water Splash Out. Why not take a tractor and trailer ride around the farm and look out for the scarecrows? The 3000m² indoor playbarn features a huge soft play area with demon drop slides. There's an under 5's area with a ball pit and giant Lego construction zone. Enjoy eating out or picnicking at one of our landscaped areas on sunny days, or in our airy 120-seat restaurant. In the summer, the Farm is home to a huge 10 acre maize maze. So take on the challenge of 3 miles of pathways, bridges and viewing towers.

We took a 2 year old to the farm adventure without really knowing what to expect; it was excellent. Everything is geared at entertaining children and if they are too small for the rides, the adults can go on with them. The food is great and not expensive at all. There is plenty to keep the children entertained for a whole day. The maize maze is huge and very tiring, but brilliant fun. The refreshments and snacks are also very reasonable. All of the staff are friendly and helpful. We will return at Halloween!

Went with my friend and 4 children aged from 2-11 and let me tell you there was something for every age group it was an amazing day out for all the family. Mine wanted to go again the next day!! Only 1 problem there were alot of wasps but not really much you could do about that. We took a picnic but after looking through the menu and seeing the food it looked value for money and the staff were do friendly and polite. All in all a great day out x

Lyndsey,

Thank you for posting such a great review for us. We are pleased you all enjoyed your day at the Farm.

There is always a downside to everything, and unfortunately the wonderful weather which has made the maze grow so well this year has brought greater numbers of wasps. However, we have traps hung everywhere, empty the bins regularly and our staff are always on the look out for nests, so we are determined to win the battle!

Thanks again for the lovely review.

kind regards,

Cathy

We took our two daughters aged 5 and 8 and we're throughly impressed from the outset. Although it was busy it did not feel over crowded. There we're plenty of staff around which was great to see and they all had a friendly efficient attitude. There is lots to do, we spent the whole day there, and the mix of activities was great for families with children of varying ages. Overall, excellent value for money and this first visit definately won't be our last.

We went on a Sunday in the summer holidays. From the car park by mid-day I would say the place was at about 75% full bit it didn't feel too busy throughout the day. You can take a picnic which we did or there is a restaurant serving hot and cold food which I'm told was good quality. There are animals for the kids to feed and loads of bouncy castles oand play areas outside which are all free so the kids just loved it. The indoor play area is also great. We was there for about 5hrs and would love to go again soon. Apparently you can buy a season ticket for £40 which then means you can go whenever you want all year?! Which is unbelievable value. The staff were really friendly and chilled too. Just a great chilled day out.

Hi,

Thank you for your lovely review. We are pleased you had a good day here. As you say, the years membership per individual is £40, which is great value and means you can come along and use us on a casual basis, perhaps after school, or for the odd morning or afternoon at a weekend.

We hope to see you again soon.

Good day out but needs to change its tittle to play park. Not much farming on show. Wasps were big issue and need more work doing, only half hearted attempt to control

Hi

Thanks for the positive score you have given us. We will take your feedback on board.

We are making efforts to control the wasp numbers. We've hung wasp traps, we regularly empty bins and our staff are always on the look out for nests.

Kind regards

Cathy
