Black Star Farms, I wish I was back there and not here right now. This was our second visit in 3 years. This B&B is unique due to its agricultural setting. The place is whisper quiet, you can occasionally hear a distant neigh of a horse. This time, we stayed at Vega, their newest room. It is smaller than Betelgeuse but has great windows and is nicely decorated. The breakfasts, well, those are wonderful just on their own. Chef John (Street) knows how to really bring out a nice breakfast, gourmet style that will make you change your mind about what breakfast really is! Most of the ingredients that go into the breakfasts are superbly fresh, so much that they come from the same farm, be it meats, vegetables, eggs, fruits and so on and it tastes
The beds are plush, the linens high grade, cleanliness and attention to detail are ubiquitous.
The Inn manager, Jill and Kellie will get you information about events, restaurants, what to do, attractions and so on around the area, always with a smile, always so helpful.
We will be back, my hope, sooner than later.More
