My husband and I wanted to go up to the Leelanau Pennisula in Michigan just for a long weekend. We didnt just want to stay in a regular hotel so I looked on the internet for bed and breakfasts and then cabins. This place popped up and from the pictures it looked okay. I then looked at reviews and only saw one so I was a little nervous...........When we got there we were shocked how nice this place was. It was located right by the wineries and lake Michigan. The town of sutton Bay is very cute also. We stayed in the Stone Cottage that used to be an old creamery at the barn. Very nice it had a kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge and a sink. It also had the cutest old fashioned bathtub........very romantic. The bed is located upstairs in a loft. The stone cottage remined me like youd see this in Italy somewhere.......My N-Laws stayed in the log cabin which had all the same amenities and was just as cute just a different style. The log cabin had the old fashioned Zenith wood burning stove. They also provide grills outside with tables and chairs for each cottage. That was the best we sat outside a lot and enjoyed the breeze coming off of the lake and enjoyed looking at the trees and barn fences eating blueberry pancakes. This place was great...........We will be sure to go back.
