Stayed for one night--wouldn't recommend staying any longer than that. Air conditioner seemed musty and dusty. People were very friendly though. Breakfas decent.

We stayed at this hotel on a recomendation of a friend and I am so glad that we did. When we arrived the check-in staff was very friendly and helpful. We were given a room on the top floor at the end of the hall. The room had a mini fridge and microwave, a coffee maker, hair dryer, iron & ironing board. It was very clean and quiet. Even though we were right next to the highway we never heard any noise.
The breakfast was a little bit more than your standard continental breakfast. There were waffles, cold cereal, oatmeal, muffins, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, donuts, bagels, bananas, apples, juice & coffee. The front desk staff stocks the breakfast area and we did have to ask them to come restock a couple of times during our 4 day stay. But they were always very helpful and got whatever we needed immediately.
The laundry facilities are a bit lacking. The washer got our clothes clean but the dryer did not dry them in one cycle.
The hotel is conveniently located right next to the highway. There are several restaurants right next to the hotel. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
We were shocked to see the lobby with wallpaper held up by thumb tacks. The place was rundown and shabby. The room had old and sad furniture and it was a depressing place and definitely not worth the money. There are alot more places to stay and spend the same amount of money that are alot nicer. Also the entrance door on the side was not locked and that felt a little creepy to me.
Front desk staff was very helpful, providing maps and directions, changed my room when I didn't like the first one. The room was spacious with comfortable king bed, fridge, very clean. Continental breakfast was very nice and the room was set up so it was cozy with tv on and everything I needed. The location was just off the highway but quiet and a short drive away was some awesome scenery and downtown St. Joseph's.
If I were passing this way again I wouldn't hesitate to book this hotel again.
This hotel was fine for a no frills hotel. It's great for just spending the night. There is no pool, excercise room, room service but we did not need those amenities. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.
Close to shopping, expressway, Lake Michigan and wineries. Many restaurants within walking distance.
We stayed here because the pictures online looked clean and new. When we got there, the hotel was old and worn. The room was stinky - it was a non-smoking room, but smelled like smoke and mildew from wet carpet. We bought a candel to cover up the smell. That helped. We came in the backdoor of the hotel late at night. You use your room key to open the door, but it doesn't lock once you are in. The staff said the lock is broken and they aren't going to fix it. She said to just lock your deadbolt on your room door. She said they can't find a lock to fix the door so they installed a camera. Thing is, how do they know someone coming in isn't a hotel guest. Very creepy. We cancelled the next 2 nights and stayed at the Ramada in Watervliet for the same price. It was awesome - only 2 years old and had a waterpark for $30 dollars more a night if you wanted it. It was more of a drive, but well worth it!!
