Wow was I impressed with this place! New Seoul Garden used to be our first choice for Korean food...not any more. Chung Ki Wa takes the title!
First good sign: The place was crowded with Korean people and their friends and families. They were chowing on all kinds of delicious looking foods. Noodles were being slurped everywhere and the sizzle and smell of Korean BBQ was everywhere.
Second good sign: The food was excellent. Best hot bibenbop in Michigan, the quality of the beef was superior to other Korean restaurants in town. The pot sticker dumplings had a unique and delicious filling of meat and vegetables. The Korean pancake was good, it could of used more seafood assortment and less scallions. The assortments of kimchee were of unique variety and complemented the whole meal. Great pre-meal earthy soups.
Third good sign: reasonable prices. Much less than other Korean places in town. Service was kinda spastic but overall good.
We'll definately be going back . There are many other selections that I want to try, like the BBQ, the noodle dishes and sushi. Highly recommended.
