Bob has owned Chan's in Spring Lake since the early 1980's. Not a single aspect of the decor has changed since then. In a word, dated. People that love Chan's like that about going there. Nothing appears to change. Based on my experience, most of Chan's business is take-out. All the dishes I've ordered are a bit different than anywhere else I've had them. From egg roll to chicken chop suey(sp?). Some like it, and others leave it. Bob seems unfazed by his critics. He caters to his fans. The best of their menu is always the fried rices, and egg foo young in my opinion.
