This place needs a really good scrubbing, painting and carpet cleaning. The mattresses were great and very comfy. The staff was very helpful. We are not complaining about the maids, but rather about the owner. The carpets in the hallways was filthy, every decorative items needed cleaning and pray you don't touch the walls by accident.......this could really be a nice place if it didn't have such an air of grunge. P.S. We are not clean freaks, but this place needs to be powerwashed and what was the blue tarp covering by the entrance way????

We are actually in the process of renovating and upgrading our facilities at the moment and have already replaced the carpet in the rooms as well as the lighting and curtains. The blue tarp in the entraceway was actually a roll of carpet that had just been delivered for this very project. We do hope that you give us a second chance should you be in the South Haven area again to see the changes we have made. Thank you again for your review.
The hotel is conveniently located right off the freeway ... next to a Wal Mart and a Big Boy restaurant. Check in was quick, and the staff was friendly. Overall, the room was fairly clean, but was a little worse for wear. Wallpaper was peeling, the hair dryer didn't work, and the carpet was a bit worn. The décor is definitely outdated. The beds were comfortable and the room had a small microwave and refrigerator in it. We didn't take advantage of the continental breakfast, but I did take a peek at what they had ..... waffles, packaged sweet rolls, coffee .... the usual basics. I have no major complaints or concerns, but wasn't particularly impressed with the place either. This is the first time we have stayed at a Baymont Inn & Suites, and based on what we experienced here, personally, I would probably look for another hotel chain the next time!

We are currently in the process of upgrading and changing all of our rooms throughout this winter. We have removed the wallpaper and thoroughly painted all of the rooms; replaced the carpet, lamps, curtains, and any appliances needed. We are also changing the furniture in the breakfast area and have even more planned for this next coming winter as well.
We do hope that, should you be in the South Haven area again, you give us a second chance and see the changes we have made. Thank you again for your review.
