This experience was one of no comparison to other trips like this! The rooms truly made you feel at home as well as the attentive staff! We also had dinner and tried their new menu, which was delectable! We really enjoyed the grilled avocado salad--delicious combinations of tastes and flavors! Not to mention, the new chef did a PHENOMENAL job on all of the items on our order! We recommend this destination to anyone and everyone! Whether you are looking for a place to spend a week vacation or a weekend getaway, it will be just what you needed!

My wife, I, and another couple, spent a very comfortable overnight stay at the Inn at HawksHead. The staff was very welcoming and wanted to make our stay the best. It is a small inn with only 9 rooms of various sizes. We stayed in rooms 8 & 9. The rooms were spacious clean and comfortable with views of the golf course. The next morning we had a delicious tray of fruit, juices, pastries, and coffee delivered to our room. Very nice.

On Saturday we had dinner in the restaurant in the Inn. Comfortable surroundings and attentive staff. The food was unique and tasty. On Saturdays the chef creates dishes he wants to serve and we benefited from it. My wife and I had walleye and salmon, delicious. The sides were marvelous, the right amount, and healthy. Prices were appropriate for the quality of the food.

We recommend this gem on the HawksHead Golf Course. We will return in warmer weather and enjoy some golf in addition to the Inn.

Room Tip: The staff were very helpful when I called for a reservation, also check the website

This Inn is fantastic. The food was delicious, the rooms were spotless and the staff was not only helpful but extremely friendly. My family took up all nine rooms and the staff catered to our every need. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be coming back regularly. I would recommend the Inn to anyone looking to get far enough away from South Haven to avoid the traffice and noise but close enough to be able to get involved in the town's activities if you so choose. Thanks to all the people who helped make our stay so comfortable and filled with memories of good times. Mary O

We enjoyed a 1 night stay at the Inn. Our room was quite large with a comfortable bed, easy chair and a table for 4 (?). Bathroom was fine, but I was surprised by the linoleum on the floor. You don't see that much anymore. I too was a little disappointed with the continental breakfast. It was delivered promptly at the time we requested, but included a fruit cup, 1 english muffin, and 4 small pastries that seemed like they were originally frozen. I guess I expected some homemade muffins or something.
Service was good. They put in a nice patio out front since the last time we had been there. The golf course is right out the front door. I would recommend for a casual stay...

Room Tip: Ask for 2nd floor as there are no elevators.

First you can arrive earlier, stay in the bar drinking something with other people (not always guests but some of them come for dinner. The restaurant with candle lights, nice menu, wines, and the service is excelent. All the rooms are different and with elegance and charming. To walk in the beautiful area is another expr\erience. Breakfast can be served in the room and is delicious.
I went there many times and I booked for now, October 11 to 14 and December 31.
If you want to go book away in advance because the rooms sold out quickly!
Enjoy it!

Room Tip: They don't have pool, sorry. I couldn't remove the rate. Try to call on the weekends or writ...

Overall the inn was nice. But what peeved me off is the fact they charged $2.00 for boiled eggs, you would think that would be included in a continental breakfast!! I never have been to a B& B that didn't serve a nice breakfast, Oh well a lesson learned.Continental is OK but I rather have a great breakfast, especially for the amount charged..

Room Tip: Room #2 does not have a table and only one chair..Other rooms we looked at were adequately furnished...

At first glance it seemed nice. Old style home on a golf course with an upscale restaurant on first floor. Peaceful, quiet setting.
Rooms on 2nd and 3rd floors, but unfortunately NO elevator. We had some heavy items to carry up the stairs. Thank goodness our room was only on the 2nd floor. Rooms are nicely decorated.
Unfortunately there's NO way to regulate the temperature for individual rooms! Too warm or too cold? Too bad. It's an older home and there's nothing they can do. They can give you a fan.
It was beastly warm in our first choice of a room. It happened that management had another room available on the other side of the hall which was cooler, so we were very thankful for that. The king bed was okay, but we've had a much more comfortable mattress in other places that didn't cost as much. When we took a shower we were surprised that the water temp. fluctuated (like in an older house) and you'd be shocked with a change to cold, then hot, then back to normal. It happened the whole time while showering. And the toilet paper was cheap and scratchy. They have next to nothing for WiFi service and if we did start to get something on the laptop it was very slow or cut off. We gave up trying to have computer access. Don't bother bring your computer in. Our cell phone worked.
They had a premium price on all the rooms for the time we stayed.
We had dinner in the restaurant downstairs one of the nights and it was excellent.
I could recommend the restaurant, but not staying in one of the rooms.
