“Very enjoyable stay, GREAT hospitality, and location, location, LOCATION!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2013

My wife and I just spent this past "Harborfest" weekend at Jerry and CarolAnn's Inn and couldn't have felt more welcomed! The cleanliness, and comforts of the room were outstanding! We very much enjoyed the service from the welcome reception on Friday to the home made French Toast on Sunday morning. Our room was exceptionally clean, very comfortable bed, and thought for a resort town, we felt the rooms to be comfortabaly quiet for sleeping.

Also, the location of the Inn is within walking distance to anything you would need. We parked our car on Friday night and didn't need to get back in it until we checked out Sunday! Restaurants, the Harborfest activities, and even if you want some fresh Lake Perch for lunch.. it's just acrossed the street!

We will definately be back! Thank you CarolAnn and Jerry.. very much!!

Jim and Terri

My husband and I enjoyed are stay at the Inn. Location was great, within walking distance to town, restaurants, and bars. The breakfast was good, and enjoyed chatting with the staff and owners. Will definitely go back next year!

my wife and I checked in at 5:15PM Friday June 14th.
Carol Ann checked us in, showed us around the house along with our room..... (Magnolia)
we were advised that the welcoming snacks and drinks were only available from 5 to 5:30.....
at 5:20 we slugged down some cold meatballs and even colder quiche, along with some wine
possibly from a can (really not from a can, although which, might have been better.......
back in the wonderfully clean room we unpacked, looked around for the thermostat for the air
conditioning and found a heat only device.......NO AIR.......!!!
we opened two windows and were on our way to the film festival........
upon our return we found we had missed the cookie extravaganza............
back in our warm room, it was lights out... with the windows open we were lulled awake with the screaming of drunks, along with motorcycles, cars and trucks..........
the bed was a mixture of 3 inches of pillow top, below which, seemed to be a tired or inexpensive mattress...........
the result was akin to sleeping on a trampoline......
the pillows (4) were as hard as rocks.............
I COULD NOT AND NEVER SLEPT......
at 6AM we packed up and ran for it........
I suggest you do the same BEFORE the quiche and meatballs........!!!!!
we never bothered with the 9 to 9:30 breakfast............ by then we were comfortably at home...
A HORRIBLE EXPENSIVE EXPERIENCE........!!!!!

Our food is homemade and delicious. Our mattresses are brand new and the finest quality available, our luxurious pillows are soft down. The entire inn is comfortably air conditioned.

This sad man arrived at our door the same way he left: angry and mean. We regret that our warm hospitality and lovely surroundings couldn't lighten his mood.

What a wonderful place. Carol, Jerry and the staff are friendly but not intrusive. Snacks and wine at the Welcome Reception. Homemade cookies before bed and one of the best homemade breakfasts I have ever had.

Great restaurant recommendations. Don't miss lunch at the downtown bakery. I would heartily recommend this to friends and family and will stay there on our next Michigan trip

The Inn at the Park is a wonderful B & B. The Inn at the Park has beautifully appointed rooms that are romantic, relaxing and impeccably clean! The owners Carol and Jerry are absolutely wonderful hosts who will make you feel welcome and pampered the moment you check in. Every morning you are greeted by Carol and Jerry as they serve an incredibly delicious breakfast. The detail and presentation they put into breakfast makes dining a wonderful culinary delight! The weather was perfect during our stay and we had the pleasure of dining in the picturesque, lush backyard garden. Listening to the water fall, and taking in everything nature has to offer, is the perfect way to enjoy five star breakfast!  We could not ask for a better way to start our day in South Haven! The Inn is perfectly located. Youcan walk to everything.  You can literally park your car and never drive during your whole visit. If you are looking for a luxury B & B close to everything South Haven has to offer, look no further then The Inn at the Park!  We look forward to our next visit already booked this summer! Thank you Carol and Jerry for your tireless dedication and commitment to making the Inn at the Park the very best B & B in South Haven. You go to great lengths to ensure guest have the best possible experience during their stay and you always exceed our expectations. This is why we consider the Inn at the Park a Five Star B & B!

I can't say enough - the Inn was awesome, the room was beautiful - nicely decorated and clean! The Inn Keepers Carol Ann and Jerry were down to earth and so very nice/kind! In fact I booked a weekend in August.

Stayed here 5/8-5/10/2013. We love this place. Jerry and Carol Ann are both very hospitable innkeepers, we felt right at home. It is very clean and the food was delicious. They accomodated my gluten intolerance both mornings. The first breakfast was gluten free for everyone that stayed here. There is round the clock access to k-cup coffee and fine assortment of teas. A refrigerator is dedicated for guests to keep their food/wine/beverages. Complimentary reception with yummy hearty appetizers and wine every other night. It is beautifully landscaped with a fountain in the back (not yet in season). Fantastic location. I had the best pedicure yesterday afternoon after my husband and I returned from the Holland Tulip Festival (also a wonderful time). At Carol Ann's recommendation, my appt. was with Kathy at K Nails; she massaged my legs extensively. So worth the money, best pedicure I've ever had. My husband walked to the park and looked at Lake Michigan. While my pedicure was in process he walked into town and watched ships come through the drawbridge and took pictures. We'd come back here.
