Take a couple of hours for a lovely drive in the country. Pass deer and farms as you head southeast of Kalamazoo - down 36th Street into Scotts. There's a little four corners and that's where you'll find the locally owned and operated, Scotts Corner Café. This historic brick building is a picture postcard of the older Michigan businesses and you can expect to feel like family and friends from next door.
With that said, the small, sometimes inexperienced staff and cook, may take a little longer than usual to get you what you need. While you wait, Bonnie & Mark, the owners, will check in on you and make you feel at home. Wrong order? They'll fix it. So take a newspaper, a good book, or enjoy fun conversations with your group while you wait. Wi-Fi and cell phones don't always work, but isn't that the point of heading out to the country?! :)
