If you like lots of animals with antlers, this is the place! We ordered our dinners to go so we could watch the sunset on Lake Superior. While we were waiting, it was fun to look around the restaurant at the animals and see the history of the place. While waiting, bells, whistles and sirens sounded. The waitress explained it was from the prohibition days when everyone needed to hide the liquor and run because the police were coming. Fun, friendly atmosphere and we loved our burgers & fries.

Went in a group of eleven, 8 walked out quite satisfied and 3 not so much.
First, the waitstaff is great. They have a sense of humor and a desire to make sure you never feel neglected.
The 8 that were happy ordered the Walleye, hamburgers and salads, they said they were good. The 3 that were not happy ordered the fried perch. The perch was greasy and bland, it required a lot of tarter sauce to consume.
It was pretty darn pricey for what you got, but with the loud sirens, bells and clapping that went on, during dinner, I'm sure they feel the entertainment value makes it worth it. It doesn't.

If taxidermy is your thing then this is not to be missed. It's the first time I've dined sitting next to a 30foot long snake. Eyeballs watching you on every space on the wall. The place used to be named " The bucket of Blood saloon". We were waiting for lunch and our waitress came up and said its going to get noisy! All the sudden there was bells, whistles, gongs going off with a welcome! The staff is great, service good, I had s salad, hubby had a fish sandwich . Nothing fabulous and pricey for what we got but the overall experience was fun. Did I mention it's haunted ??

This is one of those places that you just have to go to at least once when you visit Sault Ste. Marie. The decor is insane...stuffed lions, a full-size polar bear, moose and deer heads, skulls, and, not surprisingly, antlers. Service was good and so was the food with the requisite whitefish dishes.

The only downside was the very loud and very jarring buzzing noise that we heard occasionally. No idea why!

We stopped here for dinner and were amazed by the interior decorations. There are animal head, antlers, fish, and stuffed animals all over the restaurant. The tables and chairs are not fancy, but the service and the food are excellent. There is a wide variety on the menu, but we had a taste for fish, so we had the fried whitefish. The meal was excellent and the price was very reasonable. The waitress was young but very good in her job. The portions were also very good. There is a nice variety of beers. The location is easy to find next to the river.
