“A work in progress”

Water Street Historic Block
Reviewed November 16, 2012

The Water St. historical homes include the John Johnston House, Bishop Baraga House, Henry Rowe Schoolcraft House, and the Kemp Industrial Building. During the summer months, these historical buildings are staffed with docents, who are dressed in period costumes. Musical entertainment is provided several afternoons each week at the John Johnston House by Susan Askwith & Dave Stanaway. These buildings are a work in progress, but still worth seeing.
