Finally got a chance to see this museum after many rushed business trips. I have seen some nice ship museums, but the collection of marine memorabilia in the Valley Camp is extraordinary!

Ship models, GreatLakes Hall of Fame, Old shipbuilding tools, ship and company histories, and Edmund Fitzgerald items, in addition to getting up close to the engine and machinery, look into Dining Rooms and galley, berthing areas, etc. they even have an aquarium of Great Lakes fish.

Appears to be well funded and well maintained.

You can spend a lot of time here if you want to read and absorb all the displays and workings of the ship. Tons of stuff to look at. Plenty of walking all over the ship.

Had been awhile since up here. They have added more to the ship and opened more of the ship to the tour. Found it to be of interest and then went on top deck to view the ships crew quarters and dining, pretty cool.

Great afternoon activity for the family when visiting the Soo Locks. The displays are well thought out and well paced as you walk around the ship. My children enjoyed learning about the history of the great lakes and their importance in history.

It is a lot of walking. Very interesting to see everything. I have a hard time walking and was so glad there were places to sit down. And the little movies to watch were very interesting and educational.
