My family and I have visited the Saugatuck area at least once annually
for the past six years, and the only place we stay is The Park House.
Being enlisted in the Coast Guard and having limited time to take
vacations, as well as limited funds my wife daughter and I try to make
the most of our vacations. The Park House offers comparible rates to
other B&B's in the Saugatuck area, and has a lot to offer, with Jacuzzi
tubs, and fireplaces in the rooms the setting is perfact for romantic
evenings. For family outings there are cottages that we have stayed in
that are great, offering great views, or just cozy atmosphere.
Suagatuck itself offers plenty of entertainment, with Beaches,
shopping, restaurants, bars, tourist attractions including ferry rides,
and museums, and even a nearby bowling alley. We have never had a bad
vacation in Saugatuck . Even in the winter when most of the attractions
are closed Saugatuck offers events including horse drawn carriage
rides. When you get tired of throwing snowballs, the hot tub, and
fireplaces are really welcoming.
The breakfast aspect of the B&B is great too, the inn keepers Sallie, and John Cwik really do their best to accomodate you and make you feel at home. When ever we had trouble deciding on what to do for the day they always had the answer to our problems, we especially enjoyed the evening cruise on the Star of Saugatuck.
I would recommend to anyone interested in taking a relaxing vacation to
the beach to try Saugatuck MI, and to stay at The Park House.
