“Overpriced Italian in Saugatuck”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 17, 2013

This place functions on location (near the river). Seasonal. The waits are long. The prices high. The service is adequate.

“Awesome Home Style Italian”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2013

Marro's Restaurant in Saugatuck, Michigan is an italian gem. Home style italian cooking like grandma's, great service, lots of food and reasonable prices. Can't beat a meal at Marro's! If you are a chicken lover I recommend Chicken Cancillara - tasty baked chicken and farm fresh veggies! What a combo.

“A first class experience”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 3, 2012

This place has been in business for over 40 years for a reason. Great steaks, seafood and Italian. I have tried everything over the years except the pizza. Got it last weekend. WOW It was thee best I have had in years. The sauce, the cheese, the sausage, the fresh mushrooms were delicious. The crust was hand rolled and thin. It had you craving for more! The same staff have been there years and are very friendly and helpful. Just great atmosphere to relax and enjoy a great meal. Bob Anderson

“Uninspiring”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 28, 2012

We started with the bruschetta, which was not your standard slices of bread but an unusual, small round loaf topped with tomatoes and stuffed with cheese; it tasted good enough. The house salads were fine with super sweet raspberry dressing. I ordered the braciole, (they spelled it "bracciole") which was very rich and heavy on the stomach. In fact, my stomach feels a bet upset. My wife had the manicotti, which was fine but uninspiring. The service was good enough if not a bit too familiar. With one glass of wine: $70 before tip.
