It left on time, it went where it was supposed to go, it returned on time and it didn't sink! What more do you want from a boat trip? The commentary was appropriate but occasionally incomprehensible to the English ear.

The excursion we took was not too busy and the wine was predictably grim

We took the cruise two years ago, so there wasn't much new - except the museum ship Keewatin is gone. Staff persons are very friendly and pleasant. I mentioned that I might like a coffee and I was offered a cup for free since it was from the prior cruise. It was good. They have snacks available as well as soft drinks and beer. Boat is clean.

If you like the water and boat rides, take this cruise. It goes out into Lake Michigan if the weather allows. Consider taking a windbreaker as it does get a little cool on the water. Of course you can always go into the enclosed cabin.

Nice souvenir store with restrooms available at ticket office. Only drawback is that sometimes finding a parking space is a problem.

With all there is on-offer in this town it was sweet to sit back and relax totally. We followed a crew-member's advice on where to sit on the upper deck and not be baked by the sun and that worked out very well. Just a peaceful way to spend some time...

Husband and I enjoyed the ride. Captain was very informative, lots of stories to go along with the sights of the Kalamazoo river. Even got to go out onto Lake Michigan. Would recommend.

This is definitely a must do on any vacation! The sunset cruise is very popular, so make sure to get your tickets early, and get in line a good 30 minutes early, or longer if you want to guarantee yourself a place on the top! We JUST squeezed by for the top, and we arrived 15-20 mins early!
The views are just gorgeous! Make sure to wear pants and bring a jacket! It's so much chillier on the water and in the evening! The captain was great, and her staff! The people riding were all friendly. Just a great experience! We didn't get to go out into Lake Michigan due to the conditions. It's a smooth ride until you get close to Lake Michigan, again depending on the conditions. But the three days we've been here its been real choppy. If your easy to get sea sick you may want to take something before hand. I got very dizzy and knots in the tummy while at the pier head. But the view was breath taking! Well worth the uneasy feeling!!
