The appartement is very well equipped, looks nice.
Very quiet this time of the year, November.
Lots of green, birds, herons in the morning...
Very nice lunch.
Close to Olhão and the market and sea side.
Very friendly staff and service.
Recommend!

Hotel was completely as wonderful as all the reviews we read, Lovely rooms, location, facilities, breakfasts...BUT we were very disappointed by the restaurant. The staff we met were very surly but most disappointing of all was the lack of vegetarian options. On our first night, when we were tired and hungry, we decided to choose from the 17 euro 3-course set menu. (I am hoping to attach a photo...) Unlike anywhere we have stayed before, the chef was unwilling to include ONE veggie option for the main course, just for one evening!! Needless to say, we did not eat there again. I would have been happy with spaghetti and tomato sauce etc but NO. And with no explanation or apology!!

Apart from that ...10 out of 10!!

Yes the Quinta looks good when you visit the website and even in real life it looks good when you arrive at the parking place.
But, it is a bit isolated. Nothing within walking distance apart from a very small town (and we mean very small). But, you can get everywhere by car.
So, all quietness than? Well, when you lie at the pool, looking to the garden and the surrounding landscape, it's all beautiful and oh so quiet.
The mayor problem is the lack of sound isolation in the building:
First we had room 208, close to the entrance. We should have known better and after one night we knew better: a lot of noise from the people entering the hotel or leaving the restaurant and talking in the lobby.
Ok, we got another room, further upon the corridor, room 214.
Better, but... above the restaurant. So, when the first guests enter for the breakfast or the last guests leave the dinner late in the evening, you hear every chair that scratches over the floor.
And what if everyone is gone?
You still have the neighbors. Every time someone talks or looks at the television, you hear everything.
A total lack of sound isolation ruins everything. Maybe it is better on the other side of the corridor and in the rooms in the little houses in the garden, but if you book, refuse the rooms from 208 to 215/216.
It really is a shame for this type of hotel.

Stayed here for 5 nights from Aug31-Sep5

First of all, you need a (rental) car to get there, it’s in the middle of nowhere, but ideal to start journeys to local villages, such as Olhao, Tavira, Faro... (10-15 min by car)

Nice pool, quite large, about 25 rooms, good airco and wifi. Bed is only 1.40, a bit small.

Breakfast is fine, you can order any type of egg preparation you want. We had one dinner, not wauw. But there are lot of excellent restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Very good hotel to start trips in Algarve, and when you’re back around 4pm, just jump in the pool, fantastic

We were visiting friends who have moved to the area and this hotel was recommended to us, our friends were right. The location is stunning and yet only 15 minutes from Faro airport and the sea. The staff are friendly but not ‘in your face’ all the time and nothing is too much trouble.
We left three days later fully refreshed!
