I want to rate this place a little higher, and would if there was a "good" category, but can't go "very good" due to the 35 minute wait for breakfast after ordering.
We stopped here for breakfast, going south from Sault Ste. Marie over the Independence Day weekend. Our server (her name may have been Amy, but not sure) was extremely helpful and personable, the breakfast was good and plentiful, the biscuits and gravy had decent flavor, and the overall atmosphere was nice and friendly, but the 35 minute wait, dragged the whole experience down. They didn't seem overly busy, and our server did apologize for the wait, but 35 minutes for breakfast food for two people? Really??? I hoped that when we received it, I would consider it "worth the wait", but the wait was just too long for the food to be able to compensate. My "poor" rating of service does NOT reflect on our server, but the kitchen.
