Went between Christmas and New Years, walked in about 8:30, it was almost full which made for a nice atmosphere. We sat at a 2 top table in the window so we could people watch. Waitress was prompt and attentive. Ordered beef carpaccio for our appetizer ($10.50), the beef was flavorless, so we added salt to bring out the flavor. The accompanying greens and crackers were good with a nice acidic dressing. I ordered the lobster mac & cheese, it was good, not great, again lacking seasoning, it had a nice crust on top. The lobster pieces were generous, but in retrospect I decided it was an odd combination and the lobster didn't really add anything to the overall flavor. My son ordered the pork marsala, and again, he said it was good but he wasn't wowed. I ordered a pinot gris from Oregon ($10 a glass) a generous sized glass, he had a coke. Dessert was cheap - small bites for $1.50. Total bill came to $63 for 2. With all the great restaurants in Royal Oak and elsewhere we probably won't try this one again.
