The best thing about Duggans is that u can play the lottery!! The food SUCKS, the bartenders aren't friendly, its not as clean as it could be, the drinks are average. There's just not much to rave about here!! The burger is OKAY at best. The chicken sandwich is average. The wings are no better than any of the million coney islands in the state. The nachos are alright & who can mess up French fries? They can!! SKIP Duggans unless you're already drunk & wanna watch the cars go by on Woodward! I can say that ONE of the waitresses is nice but she must be the only one who realizes she's working for TIPS!! Here's a tip for the attitudinal bartender on the afternoon shift- SMILE a little! And STOP acting like the customers annoy u! Perhaps u can make a bad experience a WEE bit better!! ;)

I've eaten here a few times. Pretty good bar food, huge burgers. The restaurant is decorated nicely and celebrates the history of Woodward not only through photos and articles on the wall, but the bartop on the second floor has a much scaled-down replica of old Woodward, detailing where some of the roadside attractions like the Drive-Ins once stood. What looks similar to one of homestate hero Doug Kalitta's MAC Tools top fuel dragsters hangs from the ceiling on the upstairs. Giant windows provide nice views of ol' M-1, and is a prime spot for people-watching. Then there's Dream Cruise time. Duggans becomes an absolute sea of people. No places to park anywhere close (unless you know a guy who knows a guy), and zero room to enjoy a cold beverage or duck out of the sun or rain. On the plus side, Duggans does offer drink and food specials, live bands, and gathers a few old school dragsters and hotrods for the world's largest single day hot rodding event.

Duggan's has taken all the best foods from the restaurants that were mainstays when cruising Woodward Ave was the thing to do, and serves them exactly as true Detroiters remember. Big Chief, Susie Q, and Ted's Drive-in are all alive and well at Duggan's!

Feeling like a Teds burger? Or the Totem Pole Pocahantas? How about Susie Q's fish and chips? It can be found at Duggans...lively atmosphere, great food- and, in the summer go upstairs for a nice view overlooking Woodward and all the action!
