Great location to Detroit Metro Airport. Stayed one night before catching flight out. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and consisted of a TV, (not flat screen), with free HBO, hairdryer, iron, ironing board, safe, alarm clock radio, phone, small coffee maker, luggage rack and free WiFi. No microwave and no fridge. Room was very spacious with double beds, nice large desk, and comfy chairs. Large vanity & sink just outside bathroom. The vanity, sink and large mirror look fairly new. Lots of vanity counter space. Bathroom was clean, but needs updating. Bathtub was worn and had rust around metal fixtures and drain. Hotel property has a fitness center, swimming pool, (which was very clean and inviting), free airport shuttle, ice and vending machines in hallways, complimentary USA Today newspaper in lobby, complimentary continental breakfast, restaurant on site, small bar on site. The continental breakfast consisted of waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, toast, english muffins, bagels, danish, juice and coffee. You can pay $5.99 to upgrade breakfast to a hot meal of scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and hash browns, which is what we did. The eggs, sausage, bacon and hash browns were very good. We were glad we purchased the hot meal. Free coffee available 24/7 in the restaurant area. With tax and surcharges we paid $67.19 (Senior Discount rate) for one night's stay. There are other restaurants within the area, (Big Boy, Bob Evans, McDonald's), but you have to drive to them. There is a convenience store/gas station right next door that you CAN walk to for a quick snack. I believe the convenience store also sells subs. ***The only drawback to this property is that there is no elevator. It is a 2-story hotel. If you cannot climb stairs or don't want to schlep your luggage up the stairs, ask for a room on the first floor! Overall, a very good place to stay especially flying into or out of Detroit. As someone else pointed out, this hotel is in Detroit Metro's flight path. Yes, there are planes flying overhead, but in all honesty, we did not hear them while inside our room. I guess it depends on how sound a sleeper you are:)

Room Tip: No elevators at this 2-story hotel. If you cannot climb stairs, ask for a room on the 1st floor.

Very nice hotel. Excellent service at front desk. Immaculate room - fresh decor, carpet, paint, etc. standard 25" TV - no flat screen. No microwave or refrigerator in room. Large bathroom counter. 7 miles from all of the Ford attractions. Would definitely stay here again. Great AAA price!

Got a bad spin from the standby roulette wheel and had to spend a night in Detroit. This is an expensive option that is better than couch surfing in the airport. Front desk service was extremely warm and understanding on the way in and on the early morning way out. This is a clean and restful night's sleep.

A very convenient location right at the I-94 exit and only 2 minutes from the North Terminal. You park across the street at Airlines Parking and it includes up to 7 days with a 1 night stay, and a reasonable rate. There is continental breakfast included with your stay. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly, this was our second stay here before a flight, we will stay there again.

My friend and I stayed at this hotel because we had an early flight from Detroit the next morning. Check in was relatively quick, even though they were busy when we got there. We were given a room on the second floor and were never told the hotel did not have an elevator! Two women with large suitcases and you would have thought this might have prompted him to let us know or arrange a different room. This is a large hotel and, I swear, we were in the furthest room possible from the lobby! We had to lug our suitcases all the way around the hotel and up a flight of stairs and then back down and back to the lobby at 4:30am! I do not know how this hotel can get away with not being up to ADA code, but it was awful!

Room Tip: If you have any physical limitations, BEWARE of this hotel! Ask for a room close to the lobby when making your reservation.
