We'd stayed at Lexington Hotels before. This was like the others---basic and inexpensive. The room was OK and not as noisy from nearby aircraft as I had feared. The biggest problem was that the fitted sheet was too small for the mattress. and repeatedly came off during the night. The sheets seemed older and worn. However, the walls and sink seemed like they had undergone a fairly recent makeover. As with other Lexington hotel breakfasts, it was very basic and a little depressing. The location makes it a breeze to get to the airport quickly and is the best thing doing for this property. The have a good value sleep, park and fly package.

I had stayed at another hotel in the area, and was wondering whether there were any better hotels that were inexpensive in the area. The Lexington Hotel is definitely the best option. The front desk staff was very friendly, the room was very clean, the wireless internet worked well. The only negative is that since it is directly near an airport, you will hear a lot of planes flying over, though at night it isn't as much of a problem. The continental breakfast was minimal, but still ok.

I have stayed in other hotels in the area and was a little gunshy about staying in this area again - but we were headed to the Michigan game and it was on the way and definitely the right price.

We were pleasantly surprised. Front desk staff was very friendly (we arrived around 11:30pm) and our room was clean. Fresh crisp linens and a recliner in the room. Bed was VERY comfy with great pillows. Shower had lots of pressure and everything was spotless.

We were in Detroit for a wedding with an early AM departure. Picked this hotel for it's location and good reviews. Staff was extremely courteous and pleasant. We arrived early PM and called for early check-in. No problem, come on down. Coffee and juice in the bright lobby available at no charge. Acees to a computer and internet availbale at no charge. Rooms are clean with coffee machine, microwave and refrigerator. Could not ask for more. price was very reasonable.

I booked the Lexington's Stay, Park N' Fly package so that we could drive down to Detroit (from London, ON) the night before an early morning flight. Positive reviews were the deciding factor in which hotel I chose. I was not dissapointed.

Airport parking for the week would have cost us more than the price we paid for a nights accommodation and a 7 day parking voucher from the hotel.

The Lexington was easy to find, very close to the airport and conveniently located right next to a Bob Evans Restaurant.

Our room was clean and comfortable. As other reviewers have mentioned, it is in a direct flight path to the airport, however the noise was minimal. The first few times I mistook the noise for the air conditioning kicking it up a notch...So it is definately tolerable. If you can fall asleep with the TV on, you should have no disturbances. And the flights do of course subside during the night.

Our flight was at 8am so it was nice to be able to grab a quick bite to eat downstairs before we made our way to the airport. Breakfast starts at 6 and consisted of 4 types of cereal, juice, bagels and cream cheese, toast, and of course coffee.

The parking voucher is for Airlines parking located directly across the street from the hotel. You can bring your car over the night before and the lexington shuttle will bring you back to the hotel and take you to the airport in the morning. Or, like us, you can drive it over in the morning and take on of Airlines shuttles which run constantly and pick up at the airport constantly. We had no wait departure or return.

Overall, I was happy with my choice to stay at Lexington. It was convenient and of great value. I would definately recommend this hotel and their Parking package.
