“Good Food, Moderately priced. ”

The food was delicious. The best cheese sticks I've tasted. It got busy after we arrived, but we still had good service. I will definitely go again.

“Understaffed”
Reviewed October 13, 2013

Ate at the Sporting News Grill after returning to our hotel after the Michigan/Minnesota football game, as it was located in the Holiday Inn in the same parking lot as the Springhill Suites we stayed at. They were not prepared for the crowd with only three servers and a hostess working, but did their best to keep up. Kitchen seemed to do a great job in getting the food out. Food was nothing special. Lots of beers, but beer list had items crossed off and then others hand written in, didn't look good.

“Loved the beer menu”
Reviewed October 11, 2013

I stayed at the Embassy Suites, 2 properties over. I was craving some good beer and found it here! They have a large selection on tap, I coupled that with a decent burger and left a happy man!

“Friendly service but pricey”
Reviewed October 1, 2013

Two beers and a reuben turkey sandwich was over $30. Friendly service and cold glasses but expensive.

“Good service and nice ambience. Food average”
Reviewed September 30, 2013 via mobile

The location is perfect for the Springhill Suites or the Holiday Inn. The room itself is nicely laid out and I found the service was speedy and attentive. The food itself though was just ok - overly salty and too much sauces etc. But it lets you walk to dinner so I give it a small thumbs up.
